Merry Christmas from the Big White House

Last year was the first year away at college, so I decided to start the tradition of having my own Christmas card! My roommate and I got dressed up, wrangled up a camera stand, and had ourselves a merry little photo shoot.

This year I took things to the next level. For Christmas gifts, I got each of my roommates some fun, festive pajama pants and we all happened to have the same sweatshirt. From there we got some lights, decorative hair accessories, and our beautiful sorority house did the rest! Luckily, we have some talented sisters and one of our photographic geniuses agreed to take our picture.

It was a bit cold out there, but the friendship we shared from living together for a semester warmed us right up. I’m glad to have started this early on, so I can see the progression of my life from a young age, living on my own to someday having my own family Christmas cards!

New Year, Same Me

Quick throwback to 3 years ago when I started this blog! And … back to the present. People always have lots to say when this new beginning rolls around. A chance to start fresh, be productive, and to reinvent your image. I say, scrap it. The world seems to be in agreement that 2016 was the closest we’ve been to hell on earth. However, life is just a continuation. Unless you’re one of those cute, little babies with a January 1, 2017 birthday, nothing much has really changed. Here's to more blurry pictures and good times  For as many people read this blog, this post is as much to hold myself accountable as to give advice to the world from my point of you. Cards Against Humanity with a Twist

My friend Sarah came over last night so we could watch the One Direction movie, This Is Us, which came out last year. She still hadn't seen it! Not only that, but we decided to play Cards Against Humanity . It's a card game that requires four people or more if you really want to get the laughs going.     With only the two of us, we took a little advice from our favorite YouTubers! Hannah Hart (feat. Jenna Marbles) and  Connor Franta (feat. Tyler Oakley) dubbed a new, two person version of this game: Charades Against Humanity. I think this might be better than the original intention of the game. I couldn't decide whether it was more fun to act out or guess crazy ridiculous things! We took cues from the YouTubers such as "overall concept", "sounds like", and other charade gestures.
