Beauty Burst!

I'd like to give a shout out to this little gem! I received this mini moisturizer as a sample gift from UDA Nationals/National Dance Team Championships. They give all the girls on a dance team a sturdy drawstring bag to tote their things around Disney World and fill it with a couple of goodies during orientation from the companies that sponsor UDA. At least, that's my understanding of it. Anyway, this year we got some Gatorade powder (to mix in a water bottle- not really my thing), a tiny "cosmetic" case type thing from Playtex, a coconut SoftLips, and this moisturizer by Clean and Clear. I don't typically get into routines with my hygienic beauty, but I'm starting to because this is so wonderful! After I wash my face I rub a dime-sized amount this in my hands and then apply it all over my face. It really helps my face from drying out, which typically can be seen right after I wash it. I haven't been using it long enough to see long term effects, but let me tell, the short term ones are very worth it! My face is so incredibly smooth and soft after I put this on and I love it! Also, the moisturizer is more gel-based than cream which I enjoy as nothing more than a personal preference. Once I run out, I'll definitely consider purchasing this in a full size!

New Year, Same Me

Quick throwback to 3 years ago when I started this blog! And … back to the present. People always have lots to say when this new beginning rolls around. A chance to start fresh, be productive, and to reinvent your image. I say, scrap it. The world seems to be in agreement that 2016 was the closest we’ve been to hell on earth. However, life is just a continuation. Unless you’re one of those cute, little babies with a January 1, 2017 birthday, nothing much has really changed. Cards Against Humanity with a Twist

My friend Sarah came over last night so we could watch the One Direction movie, This Is Us, which came out last year. She still hadn't seen it! Not only that, but we decided to play Cards Against Humanity . It's a card game that requires four people or more if you really want to get the laughs going.     With only the two of us, we took a little advice from our favorite YouTubers! Hannah Hart (feat. Jenna Marbles) and  Connor Franta (feat. Tyler Oakley) dubbed a new, two person version of this game: Charades Against Humanity. I think this might be better than the original intention of the game. I couldn't decide whether it was more fun to act out or guess crazy ridiculous things! We took cues from the YouTubers such as "overall concept", "sounds like", and other charade gestures.
