I have been waiting so long to wear this outfit! I picked it out the night before school was supposed to start up again for the new year but weather didn't want us to go. I ended up with an extra week of winter break due to snow days. I'm certainly not complaining though!
It wasn't as cold once we went back to school so I decided my cream socks were more appropriate to wear than my Hunter ones.
This is the necklace I wore to homecoming! It's quite the statement necklace so I sometimes have a difficult time pairing it with an everyday outfit. I typically wear it with solids to keep from having too much going on. The great thing about wearing it with the collared shirt is that some of chunkiness was covered up. I'm glad that I've found other things to wear it with since this combination of pearls and rhinestones is too fun and pretty to just leave sitting around!
I got my Hunter boots this year and they are a Godsend! I'm not one for that fashion of snow boots, so these were a great alternative. To wear them in the snow I'd definitely suggest getting the Hunter Welly socks. They make the boots fit snug and keep your feet nice and toasty. I also believe that they can be worn even when it's not raining or snowing. Having red rain boots is fun because in addition to being a partially classic color, they are total attention-getters! Especially against black leggings, they add the perfect pop of bright color.
