New Year of 2014

I had a great start to the new year with my boyfriend; first kiss at midnight and all. Better yet I decided to start a blog. Though I do have two tumblr blogs, this one will be more personalized. I've always wanted to share my fashion and experiences with others, so I took this fresh start as a chance! New Year's resolution (and the title of my blog) is to stay gold. A little cheesy I will admit, but coming from The Outsiders and Robert Frost poem, it's one of my favourites. Taking on its own meaning in my eyes, I hope that I will put forth my best effort this year and accomplish all that I aim to. It's especially important with college just around the corner! Wish me luck!

New Year, Same Me

Quick throwback to 3 years ago when I started this blog! And … back to the present. People always have lots to say when this new beginning rolls around. A chance to start fresh, be productive, and to reinvent your image. I say, scrap it. The world seems to be in agreement that 2016 was the closest we’ve been to hell on earth. However, life is just a continuation. Unless you’re one of those cute, little babies with a January 1, 2017 birthday, nothing much has really changed. Here's to more blurry pictures and good times  For as many people read this blog, this post is as much to hold myself accountable as to give advice to the world from my point of you. Cards Against Humanity with a Twist

My friend Sarah came over last night so we could watch the One Direction movie, This Is Us, which came out last year. She still hadn't seen it! Not only that, but we decided to play Cards Against Humanity . It's a card game that requires four people or more if you really want to get the laughs going.     With only the two of us, we took a little advice from our favorite YouTubers! Hannah Hart (feat. Jenna Marbles) and  Connor Franta (feat. Tyler Oakley) dubbed a new, two person version of this game: Charades Against Humanity. I think this might be better than the original intention of the game. I couldn't decide whether it was more fun to act out or guess crazy ridiculous things! We took cues from the YouTubers such as "overall concept", "sounds like", and other charade gestures.
