I’m a big fan of getting dressed up and made up and this year was no different. I’ve attempted to be a skeleton, or rather do skull face paint, the past three years for Halloween. It’s a simple take on your classic costume. Every time it get better and better. I think I’ll stick with it for a couple more years in order to up the anti.

This year I progressed with better face paint (Mehron black, Wet N' Wild black, and Mehron white) as well as artistry. I even did my friend’s face makeup. In the future, I’ll hopefully invest in a skeleton outfit of sorts. However, all black leather did well in a pinch!

New Year, Same Me

Quick throwback to 3 years ago when I started this blog! And … back to the present. People always have lots to say when this new beginning rolls around. A chance to start fresh, be productive, and to reinvent your image. I say, scrap it. The world seems to be in agreement that 2016 was the closest we’ve been to hell on earth. However, life is just a continuation. Unless you’re one of those cute, little babies with a January 1, 2017 birthday, nothing much has really changed. Cards Against Humanity with a Twist

My friend Sarah came over last night so we could watch the One Direction movie, This Is Us, which came out last year. She still hadn't seen it! Not only that, but we decided to play Cards Against Humanity . It's a card game that requires four people or more if you really want to get the laughs going.     With only the two of us, we took a little advice from our favorite YouTubers! Hannah Hart (feat. Jenna Marbles) and  Connor Franta (feat. Tyler Oakley) dubbed a new, two person version of this game: Charades Against Humanity. I think this might be better than the original intention of the game. I couldn't decide whether it was more fun to act out or guess crazy ridiculous things! We took cues from the YouTubers such as "overall concept", "sounds like", and other charade gestures.
